Bar & kitchen: new opening hours from next month

The bar has been keeping hours that made sense when the club rowed three evenings a week, which it has not done for some years. From the first of next month the hours follow the water instead of the other way round.

• Tuesday to Friday — 18:00 until late
• Saturday — from 08:00, breakfast until 11:00
• Sunday — from 08:00 until 14:00
• Monday — closed, and the kitchen is deep-cleaned

Hot food runs until nine on race weekends and until eight otherwise. The "one hot dish and whatever is left" arrangement stays, because it works and because the alternative is a menu nobody has time to cook.

Card payment is now the only option at the bar. The tab book has been closed, settled and, in two cases, forgiven.
